Romantic Summer Nights & Gourmet Caramel Apples

During the summer months, many museums sponsor half-price performance nights.  Your town’s Arboretum usually hosts ‘Art in the Park’ nights which are concerts where you can check out the lush, botanical scenery while enjoying award-winning concertos.

This would be a perfect opportunity for you to take your significant other out for an inexpensive ‘date-night.’

Since the price of admission is usually half-price after 5:00 p.m. at the museum and anywhere from $10 - $15 per car at the Arboretum, you can make this botanical excursion a treat; that even your rugged husband will enjoy.  But you’ll need to pack a few things first.

You’ll need the usual picnic essentials; basket, blanket, sunscreen, water, a few sandwiches and a little added treat - gourmet caramel apples

Keep it simple girl and make a few sandwiches.  Nothing fancy unless you want to splurge on some Dijon mustard and olives for the sandwiches.

Next go to our website and order a Big Flower Gift Box.  This box includes Double Chocolate Pecan and Chocolate Cashew gourmet caramel apples, a package of saucers and napkins, two signature pretzels and a pack of playing cards.

Once your order arrives, be sure to the apples refrigerated until at least 30 minutes before you leave,  cut into slices and place them in a covered container and….

You’re done!  You’ve created a romantic, botanical get-a-way for under $80!*

Now its time to enjoy the festivities, flowers, and your man girlfriend!

A Kid-Friendly Healthier Alternative for B-Day Parties!

Picture your child’s 7th birthday party.  The traditional birthday cake has been meticulously placed for 15 of your child’s 7-year-old friends; who by the way have been dropped off by their parents into your care for the afternoon.  Remembering that the average cake slice has at least 20 grams of sugar, you grin as you imagine the crazed activity that’ll soon follow the celebratory singing of ‘Happy Birthday To You.’

You wanted something healthy for the tykes, so you splurged a little on a veggie tray. But why not do something different this year and provide a kid-friendly, healthier alternative and try our gourmet caramel apples!

What?  My kid can’t eat one of those jumbo apples!  Oh yes they can and you can work some more fruit into the ensemble if you do it right.

First, purchase a few of our ‘Chocolate Threesomes’, a few more ‘Chocolate Twosomes’, and you have to purchase a special apple ‘Pretty In Pink’ for the birthday girl or a ‘Double Striped Chocolate’ for the birthday boy.

Second, go to the market and purchase a bag of ‘Grannie Smith Apples.’  Once your Richland Gourmet Apple order arrives, take the apples you purchased from the supermarket and cut them into individual slices.

Third, open at least two of your gourmet caramel apples and cut into at least 8 slices per apple.

Next, get a simple bowl, cut up the store bought apples, mix in some other fruits like pineapples, or honeydews.

Now place slices of the gourmet candy apple on top….

And there you have it!  Cake, ice cream and candy apples; only now you aren’t guilty because you’ve provided a kid-friendly, healthier alternative for your child’s guests. Try some caramel apples today!

Simply purchase several of our ‘Triple Delights’, a few more of our ‘Chocolate Threesomes’, a few of our ‘Chocolate Twosomes’, and our ‘Pretty In Pink’ for the bride-to-be.

Once you have your store bought fruit sliced, open your gourmet caramel apples.
Slice them into at least 8 slices per apple.

Next, get a decorative, preferably a 11’ x 4’ or a 16 x 5 ½’ bright white plate and place the store bought fruit in two’s and then place a slice of the gourmet candy apple on top.

Repeat this step depending on the amount of guests.
