A Kid-Friendly Healthier Alternative for B-Day Parties!

Picture your child’s 7th birthday party.  The traditional birthday cake has been meticulously placed for 15 of your child’s 7-year-old friends; who by the way have been dropped off by their parents into your care for the afternoon.  Remembering that the average cake slice has at least 20 grams of sugar, you grin as you imagine the crazed activity that’ll soon follow the celebratory singing of ‘Happy Birthday To You.’

You wanted something healthy for the tykes, so you splurged a little on a veggie tray. But why not do something different this year and provide a kid-friendly, healthier alternative and try our gourmet caramel apples!

What?  My kid can’t eat one of those jumbo apples!  Oh yes they can and you can work some more fruit into the ensemble if you do it right.

First, purchase a few of our ‘Chocolate Threesomes’, a few more ‘Chocolate Twosomes’, and you have to purchase a special apple ‘Pretty In Pink’ for the birthday girl or a ‘Double Striped Chocolate’ for the birthday boy.

Second, go to the market and purchase a bag of ‘Grannie Smith Apples.’  Once your Richland Gourmet Apple order arrives, take the apples you purchased from the supermarket and cut them into individual slices.

Third, open at least two of your gourmet caramel apples and cut into at least 8 slices per apple.

Next, get a simple bowl, cut up the store bought apples, mix in some other fruits like pineapples, or honeydews.

Now place slices of the gourmet candy apple on top….

And there you have it!  Cake, ice cream and candy apples; only now you aren’t guilty because you’ve provided a kid-friendly, healthier alternative for your child’s guests. Try some caramel apples today!
